Create Positive Change

As parents and educators we share a collective responsibility to help create positive change surrounding issues that are important to us, our children and our communities. At K12 Global we tackle many of today’s important social, economic and environmental issues through lesson plans and classroom-ready activities that engage students, encourage dialogue and enhance learning.

We’ve visited forest habitats in the Canadian wilderness through literacy and reading activities, used sustainable manufacturing to introduce environmental science to students in Grade 3. We’ve even explored the relationship between decimals, mixed numbers and fractions through experiences that introduce whole classrooms to calories, how they convert to energy, and decisions we can each make to support healthy living through exercise and smart food choices.

Together, with some of the world’s most progressive and socially responsible corporations, we are engaging hundreds of thousands of students and educating them on important issues we face in the world today, setting the foundation for positive change.

"Education is a human right with immense power to transform.
On its foundation rest the cornerstones of freedom, democracy and sustainable human development."
